Jessie is a compassionate and dedicated therapist specializing in mental health therapy for children, families, and adults, including those on the autism spectrum. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Jessie brings years of experience and a holistic approach to therapy, addressing not only the symptoms but also the underlying causes of clients' issues.
Jessie chose the name Nalu, which means "wave" in Hawaiian, as a reminder of the ups and downs of life that she has experienced and overcome. As an avid Minnesota wake surfer, Jessie has a deep appreciation for the power and beauty of nature and water, and she brings that same sense of wonder and awe to her work with clients.
With extensive experience in trauma care, addiction recovery, and working within the prison system, Jessie understands the profound impact that these experiences can have on mental and emotional health. She is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective support to help clients heal and thrive.
Through individual and group therapy, structured goal setting and planning, chemical use assessments, and additional guidance as needed, Jessie provides clients with the tools and support they need to achieve their goals and live healthy, fulfilling lives. Her work with children and families is particularly focused on helping young clients navigate their emotions and challenges while providing families with the tools they need to support their loved ones.
Jessie is committed to providing high-quality care at an affordable price. She works closely with each client to develop a plan that meets their specific needs and budget. Whether working with individuals or groups, in person or via telehealth, Jessie is dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space for healing and growth.
